Kami pertama kali bertemu saat masih di bangku SMP. Saat itu, aku kelas 1 dan dia kelas 3. Tak ada rasa, tak ada sapaan, hanya saling tahu sebagai siswa satu sekolah. Waktu berlalu. Pada tahun 2015, saat aku duduk di kelas 3 SMP dan dia kelas 2 SMA, takdir mempertemukan kami kembali. Tanpa diduga, dia menghubungiku melalui BBM. Dari obrolan sederhana, kedekatan mulai tumbuh. Tak lama, kami pun memutuskan untuk menjalin hubungan. Awalnya, kami mengira ini hanya cinta monyet—yang mungkin hanya bertahan seminggu atau paling lama sebulan. Tapi siapa sangka, rasa itu membawa kami sejauh ini.

Perjalanan cinta kami dimulai tahun 2015 dan terus berjalan hingga 2025. Banyak hal kami lalui bersama, namun tantangan sesungguhnya dimulai pada tahun 2018. Saat itu, dia melanjutkan kuliah di IPDN Jatinangor, sementara aku masih duduk di bangku SMA. Hubungan jarak jauh menjadi fase baru bagi kami. Awalnya aku ragu—bagaimana mungkin tetap bersama dengan jarak yang memisahkan? Tapi dia meyakinkanku untuk tetap berkomitmen.

Masa-masa awal LDR cukup berat. Keterbatasan komunikasi karena peraturan kampus menjadi ujian besar. Tapi, perlahan-lahan kami mulai beradaptasi, sama seperti hubungan pasangan lain kami juga melewati itu banyak naik turunnya. Takdir seolah mempermudah langkah kami: setelah lulus SMA, aku diterima di Universitas Padjadjaran, Jatinangor—kampus yang berada tidak jauh dari tempat dia kuliah. Setelah dua tahun menjalani LDR, akhirnya kami kembali berada di kota yang sama. Meski hanya sebentar, karena saat itu dia sudah berada di tingkat akhir pendidikannya, sementara aku baru memasuki tahun pertama kuliah. Setelah itu, hubungan jarak jauh kembali kami jalani.

Delapan tahun menjalani LDR mengajarkan kami banyak hal—tentang sabar, pengertian, ketulusan, dan pentingnya saling memaafkan. Entah sudah berapa kali kata "maaf" terucap, menjadi bagian dari dinamika hubungan kami. Kami melewati banyak fase bersama: kelulusan SMP, SMA, masuk kuliah, ulang tahun, anniversary, hingga momen-momen kecil yang tetap kami rayakan meski terpisah jarak. Jujur, LDR bukan hal yang mudah. Tapi semuanya terasa sepadan ketika pada 20 Januari 2025, tepat di hari ulang tahunku, dia menyampaikan niatnya untuk melangkah lebih serius. Satu minggu kemudian, pada 27 Januari 2025, keluarganya datang menemui orang tuaku untuk menyampaikan niat baik itu secara langsung.

Kami percaya, jodoh bukan hanya tentang pertemuan, tapi tentang perjuangan dua hati yang saling memilih dan terus memperjuangkan. Kami selalu berpegang pada satu kalimat: “Kita akan berjodoh jika saling memperjuangkan, dan kita tidak akan berjodoh jika tidak mau memperjuangkan.” Alhamdulillah, dengan izin-Nya, kami memutuskan untuk mengikrarkan janji suci pernikahan pada bulan Oktober 2025, insya Allah. Sebagaimana yang dikatakan oleh Sayyidina Ali bin Abi Thalib: “Apa yang menjadi takdirmu akan menemukan jalannya untuk menemukanmu.” Semoga langkah ini menjadi awal dari perjalanan kami membangun rumah tangga yang sakinah, mawaddah, dan warahmah.

Chapter 1 : Pertemuan

Tidak ada yang kebetulan didunia ini, semua sudah tersusun rapi oleh sang maha kuasa. Kita tidak bisa memilih kepada siapa kita akan jatuh cinta. Kami dipertemukan kembali tanpa sengaja tahun 2018 setelah beberapa tahun tidak pernah bertemu. Hubungan baik yang sudah terjalin sebagai teman sejak 2011 tidak pernah kami sangka bahwa pertemuan itu membawa kami pada suatu ikatan cinta yang suci ini.

Chapter 2 : Pendekatan

Katanya cinta dapat tumbuh dengan kebersamaan. Seiring berjalannya waktu kami semakin dekat, saling melengkapi satu sama lain dan saling support satu sama lain. 16 oktober 2018 kami berkomitmen untuk menjalin hubungan sebagai pasangan

Chapter 3 : Lamaran

Kehendak-Nya menuntun kami pada sebuah pertemuan yang tak pernah di sangka hingga akhirnya membawa kami pada sebuah ikatan suci yang dicintai-Nya. Setelah banyak peristiwa yang dilalui bersama hampir 7 tahun menjalin hubungan. Akhirnya kami memutuskan untuk melangsungkan acara lamaran pada 27 Februari 2025.

Chapter 4 : Menikah

Percayalah, bukan karena bertemu lalu berjodoh tapi karena berjodohlah kami dipertemukan. Kami memutuskan untuk mengikrarkan janji suci pernikahan kami dibulan Juni. insyaAllah sebagai mana yang pernah dikatakan oleh saydina Ali bin abi thalib “Apa yang menjadi takdirmu akan menemukan jalannya untuk menemukanmu”.

They first met at an art gallery. Aurel stood for a long time in front of a painting of dusk, while Adrian watched her from a distance—not because of the painting, but because of the way Aurel watched, as if she was reading an unwritten story.

Chapter 2 : Dating

There was no greeting that day. Just a brief glance, a faint smile, and then a step away.

Pendekatan

Dipertengahan tahun 2023 kami semakin dekat dan terus saling bertukar kabar. Memang tidak ada kata pacaran diantara kami tapi alam seakan terus berkonspirasi untuk menyatukan kami berdua.

Pernikahan

2 Tahun setelah bertemu Kehendak-Nya menuntun kami pada sebuah pertemuan yang tak pernah di sangka hingga akhirnya membawa kami pada sebuah ikatan suci. Percayalah, bukan karena bertemu lalu berjodoh tapi karena berjodoh lah maka kami dipertemukan, kami memutuskan untuk mengikrarkan janji suci pernikahan kami dibulan April 2025 insya Allah. Our Story

PERTEMUAN

Awal pertama kali ketemu tahun 2019 waktu jadi Mahasiswa Baru di UIN Antasari Banjarmasin dan kami satu lokal di kelas bahasa arab (UPB). Dari saat itu kami dekat satu sama lain meski sempat beberapa kali lost contact karena pandemi Covid-19. Lalu awal 2023 kami setuju untuk melanjutkan hubungan ini, tapi diakhir 2023 juga kami terpaksa menjalin hubungan LDR karena kami berdua sudah lulus kuliah, jadi masing-masing kembali ke kampung halaman.

LAMARAN

Setelah hampir 2 tahun menjalani LDR tanpa bertemu dengan manusia beda Pulau ini. Tuhan mempertemukan kami kembali pada awal tahun 2025, di momen yang tak pernah kami duga. Pertemuan itu membawa kami ke langkah selanjutnya, dan pada hari Selasa, 21 Januari 2025, kami resmi melangsungkan lamaran.

PERNIKAHAN

Perjalanan kami yang penuh lika-liku, dari pertemuan yang tak terduga hingga akhirnya menemukan jalan untuk bersama, membawa kami pada hari yang penuh berkah ini. Dengan penuh rasa syukur, kami memutuskan untuk mengikrarkan akad nikah dan mengadakan resepsi pada Hari Minggu, 06 April 2025.
