Pertemuan

Pertama kali kami bertemu secara tak sengaja karena pekerjaan. Tak disangka, sebuah alat kerja bisa menjadi jembatan antara dua jiwa yang sebelumnya tak saling mengenal. Kisah ini berawal dari atasan saya yang meminjam sebuah alat kerja dari tempat kerja Mas Bayu, dan saat mengembalikan saya diminta untuk mengantarkannya.

Hanya sebuah pertemuan singkat yang tak direncanakan. Disaat mengembalikan alat tersebut kami sempat bertemu, tanpa percakapan panjang—hanya saling menyapa, menyerahkan alat yang dipinjam, lalu berpamitan.

Namun, begitu saya kembali ke kantor, sebuah pesan muncul di layar ponsel saya dari nomor yang tidak dikenal. Ternyata, itu pesan dari Mas Bayu yang menuliskan, “Hallo mbaa, udah sampe kantor mba ? Ini saya bayu yg tadi hehehe😁😁” . Tiba-tiba, komunikasi yang tak pernah saya duga itu mengalir begitu alami. Meskipun pertemuan kami singkat dan hampir tidak ada percakapan berarti saat itu, dengan dia menghubungi saya membuat hubungan kami berkembang menjadi lebih dekat dan bermakna—tak terduga, dari urusan pekerjaan yang biasa.

Kami saling mengenal sejak duduk dibangku SMA melalui salah seorang teman. Hanya butuh waktu 1 minggu untuk memulai perjalanan panjang kami.

2017-2022

Menjalin hubungan selama 2 tahun pertama secara diam-diam. Dilanjutkan harus terpisah oleh jarak selama 4 tahun lamanya. Rasanya berat untuk dijalani, namun kepercayaan menjadi kunci untuk saling menguatkan.

2023 — A Simple Beginning

We were first introduced by a mutual friend. What started as a casual greeting through Instagram DMs led to our first meeting at church, GMAHK Ekklesia. Little did we know, that simple moment would become the beginning of something deeper — and soon after, we became a couple.

2024 — Taking a Serious Step

As time passed, our relationship grew stronger. In 2024, things became more meaningful as we began to talk seriously about the future. We introduced each other to our families, arranged a family meeting, and together began planning the next chapter of our lives. With full confidence, we decided to take the next step: marriage.

2025 — Counting Down to the Big Day

Sejak usia kanak-kanak kami sudah saling mengenal dan sering bertemu dalam ibadah di Gereja. Tak disangka kami dipertemukan di kelas yang sama saat kelas 3 SMP. Sejak saat itu kami mulai berteman.

Melalui proses pendekatan selama 1 tahun, kami mulai menjalin hubungan.

First Meeting - 2022

Chandra and Ivana first met in July 2022 during a fitness class, where Chandra was the instructor and Ivana was one of the participants. From the very beginning, a spark was felt through meaningful eye contact.

First Date – 2022

Their first date was a warm evening that began with a hotpot dinner and continued with a visit to the cinema. Though the plan was simple, the laughter they shared and the easy conversation made the night unforgettable. As time went on and they spent more time together, Chandra and Ivana chose to begin a committed relationship.

Marriage - 2025

After two wonderful years of dating, Chandra approached Ivana’s parents with sincerity, asking for their blessing to marry her. In May 2025, they will begin their next chapter hand in hand, heart to heart, and surrounded by love.
