Our Story
Our First Date – November 8th, 2023
Our story began on June 20th, 2022. Back then, we were just manager and management trainee’s staff—two people brought together by work. Ayu had been appointed by HR to assist the manager, as part of the requirements for a foreign national to work in Indonesia. We worked side by side like any colleagues would. But slowly, without even realizing it, something deeper began to grow between us. By July 2023, we started to truly see each other—not just as coworkers, but as something more. And on November 8th, 2023, Fauzi bravely opened his heart, asking to begin a serious relationship together.
Meeting the Family – December 6th, 2024
On this day, Fauzi came with a heart full of hope, to speak with Ayu’s parents about his sincere intentions to take our love to the next chapter—marriage. That meeting marked a turning point for us. Though our journey hasn’t always been easy, and like all couples we’ve had our highs and lows, each challenge has only drawn us closer. After nearly two years, our love has grown stronger, more resilient, and ever more certain.
The Wedding – June 3rd, 2025
And finally, after all the waiting, tears, joy, and the whirlwind of preparing for a cross-national wedding, the universe gave us our special day. Though we initially planned to marry on April 26th, 2025, fate choose June 3rd, 2025 as the day our hearts would become one forever. It wasn’t just a date—it was the beginning of a lifetime written in love.
