Getting Started
We first crossed paths back in 2012 at SMP 2 Palangkaraya. He was in 9th grade, I was in 7th. We didn’t really know each other—just kind of aware of each other’s existence.
Fast forward to December 24, 2018—out of nowhere, he slid into my DMs to wish me a Merry Christmas. Long story short, that small message turned into something more, and by January 2019, we officially started dating.
In June 2019, we thought—why not make this relationship not just romantic, but also productive? So we took a leap of faith and opened our very first café from a roadside container. That’s how Meine Welt was born. Then in 2020, we decided to take it up a notch—rented land from a relative and built a proper café on Jl. C. Bangas. By 2025, we expanded again, this time opening a much bigger café: UTAMA by Meine Welt.
In 2024, we felt ready to take the next big step—“jakah duit”. And now, after 6 years together, from 2019 to 2025, we finally feel it’s time to get married—because everything just feels right, and we’re ready.
